;)
no: Картинки с выставки (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pictures_at_an_Exhibition), (Pictures at an Exhibition). But I would recommend Ночь на Лысой горе. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0GFvNDmjy0) And please don't forget Арам Хачатурян. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aram_Khachaturian) I recommend that (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Bm8CsTk3I0) by Love Sculpture (Top Ten in 1969). Dave will like it.
Gunther

Jackson Browne makes good coder music :P
-
the Love Sculpture video is blocked in the US - copywrong issues

My kind of music, classical and some Brubeck (no vocals - just music).
Dave.
-
Lynyrd Skynyrd and Boston are classic

no doubt about that. :t Jackson Brown (Hall of Famer), the song writer and composer of the Eagles (Tak it Easy), made some outstanding Albums. I can remember Lawyers in Love with that great tune. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZU-9KoGp8w)

I agree. That tune from 1961 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2In5a9LDNg) was a great hit.

I think it was Mr. Glenn Miller.
Gunther
-
that video is Glenn Miller - he made the song famous
but, Benny also did a version of the same song with his clarinet

This singer has a sense of humor.

always liked King of the Road :P
first song i ever learned on the piano
-
King Crimson.
Discipline (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discipline_%28King_Crimson_album%29) is one of my favourite albums. Quiet calming, esp for programming.

I found Bill Bruford's drumming to be brain stimulating. :P

My favourite is Lizard, but I will check Discipline, too :t

Fleetwood Mac - Rumors album, also Peter Green (early), stuff like Albatross (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Viqr6KHwJjc)
Will agree with Mr Browne, at least his laid-back ones.
Also agree with Dark Side Of The Moon, but played low volume.
But sometimes you need AC/DC, especially Bon Scott.
-
all good music
-
Too relaxing for me. When I'm on a roll usually listen a music like this (http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/1+Beat+2+Heaven/u3TYz?src=5) repeating indefinitely, it speeds up to me and to my program, and isolates me. Other times I have to have absolute quiet ... :)

Alfonso,
your link isn't available in Germany. :(
Gunther
-
Hmm, it's strange, maybe your antivirus locks it...
This is my kind of music (http://www.thunderdome.com/aftermovie/) though i like other easier too
Hardcore, many of you surely don't like it ;)

Gunther
Thank the German equivalent of the RIAA, they get the courts to block whole websites because they say it infringes i.e. piracy.
-
Alfonso,

No. It has to do with the fact that Grooveshark doesn't offer it's service in Germany.

Creedence Clearwater Revival were a great band, best heard in you car/truck if it was a big V8, the low rumble and playing Creedence Clearwater Revival over the top of it.
