updating Easy Code

I have Easy Code with GoAsm. I'm currently using the version from last summer but I want to update to the latest version. I'm wondering whether it's possible to have two versions at once on a single PC, or does Easy Code use the registry (or have some single configuration file) that would prevent that from working?

I want to keep the old version a little bit just so I can transfer the configuration (I'm assuming that won't happen automatically).

Any thoughts on this? How hard is it to update the version?

Thanks!

Hi Gary,

Thanks for using Easy Code!

You can download the last version and put it in a different drive or in another folder. That way you can have the old and  the new version. However, you also can save the .ini configuration files (and any other file you wish to keep) from your current EasyCode.Go folder and copy them to the new EasyCode.Go folder, so you don't have to keep the old version.

Regards,

Ramon
