Ccleaner and the cloud

People in these companies just can't seem to leave a good product alone.
Some idiot in the Ccleaner office wants to add the Cloud to Ccleaner.
I know this function can be done manually in Windows but it is so much easier
with a product like Ccleaner.
One saying in reference to stocks is, don't put all your money in one place.
Same applies here to the Cloud. I personally don't want any thing to do with the cloud.
But I bet apples to oranges that I will have it forced down my throat sooner or later.
With the Cloud, our beloved government will only have to go to one place to do
whatever they do.....
Sorry for the rant.
Be interested to hear your opinions....

I am with you on this, there was some talk by MS to have their OS only exist on a cloud and you would pay a yearly subscription for using it. I would imagine that did not go over well.

Actually it is still being used and it seems marketed.

Hi shankle,

I agree with you. I've no plans for cloud computing. The question is: Are the data safe? I've strong doubts.

You have to know the facts before you can distort them.

it's probably a great thing for marketing analysts.....
....and government agents

Just stay with the version you like.

RegCleaner is good too.

It's software section lists a lot of leftover stuff in the registry from programs that have been uninstalled.

Even stuff that Revo Uninstaller missed.

I am currently looking for a safe way to view a Windoze based dll under Linux.

Take care,
