As I've said, my upgrade was seamless, though I bought a new machine and all new hardware specifically for the upgrade and it was essentially unused before the rollout so it was a clean install. My old PC (now in the closet) is eligible for an upgrade however I am waiting for the dust to settle and things to stabilize a bit more before I do it. This is a new OS with a massive number of new features and the inevitable incompatibilities, it will take time to work out the kinks. There are already a number of updates to fix things, two just last night, and many of the annoying things have been addressed already. I'd rather be in on the ground floor than waiting for it to be perfect, it will be the OS we're all using a year or two from now (or sooner).

I also updated from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 without problems. It seems to be stable and work fine. However, I still prefer Windows 7.
