Does anyone know how the "forged cookies" are made.

The 2nd sentence does not inspire much confidence in me. :-)

Use a browser that gives you the option of deleting all your cookies.

There is yet another trick, use a browser that has an "incognito" mode which means it deletes all of the cookies on exit.
