old gaming computer dont work anymore,the power supply almost caught fire in one end suddenly,small wire from that to computer,was torn apart and suddenly electrics sparked and it smelled burned,so fortunatly I was home,to remove power very fast

If the box is using a high powered graphics card, you need to have a large power supply to safely run it. Running a computer with hard disks and the normal stuff does not need a big power supply but if you use a recent high powered video card, some of the draw over 300 watts. Think of a gamer's machine as needing an 850 to 1000 watt power supply.

it was a torn wire that failed,have to fix it later
