This is where my I.E. temp files are.

Explorer will not show any files or directories even though they are present.

Is there anyway to get explorer to show them ?

Even using attrib won't show them.

C:\TEMP\Temporary Internet Files

It bothers me when M.S. hides stuff.

create a shortcut to the sub-folder

Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5

under that folder, you will see a few (or several) cache folders

I found a way to sever the "umbilical cord" that Internet Explorer has with the O.S.

So, now it creates no more index.dat files.

Kinda close to a standalone program.

All is great now.  :t
