Nice SSD

I've had a Samsung PRO 128GB SSD for a while now, super fast and no problems, cost me around $1 per GB.
My local shop now has a 1TB EVO version for $689, 69c per GB.
Supposedly 540MB/s read and 440MB/s write.

This is the future, they are getting better at reliability and the speeds are maxing out the SATA 6Gb interface, especially RAID.
The mechanical drive vendors are trying to push a hybrid SSD/HDD but I think too little too late.

The drawback? Usually if an SSD dies, it...dies. No data recovery possible.
If a HDD dies there are lots of ways to get data from it.

So get rid of your 45W HDDs and get an eco-friendly 1.5W SSD
