Stats: windows 7 pro 64-bit.

I went on the Microsoft site today to look up an API.
All I could find was 10 10 10 10 ad infinitum.

From that I gather we either STOP programming
or go to one of those High level thingies........

Guess some of you have better luck than I.

I think I found it. Hard to find and cumbersome.
Maybe some of you know a better site to go to?

Here is the URL I found:
    msdn.microsoft.com.en_us/library/windows/desktop/ff818516(v=vs.85).aspx

You are right Jack, its buried pretty deep under a mountain of garbage. Keep the old Win32.hlp for the common old API types and only use MSDN for the later exotic stuff. To get more locally my latest was to hunt around for the later help file format and get a h2viewer to view it. This is mainly so you can access the common control reference and the help files I am using is the PlatformSdk for Windows Server 2003.

Thanks for replying Hutch.
In all my ups and downs with windows 7, I have managed to
lose win32.hlp and platformsdk.
