Ambition

Here lately, and I don't know where it came from, but I have experienced greatly increased ambition to do something. For months now, I have had a severe lack of it. Not just here on the forum or coding-wise, but in general, including yard work and other chores around here.

Has anyone else experienced this? Due to getting older? I have no known health issues, don't drink alcohol or do drugs. I just wonder why the sudden change.

I go through periods of activity where i seem to be doing a few projects at once, then for whatever reason i lose interest or start playing games again or reading or something else. I just accept that there are times when im not interested, so no point forcing it, and then there are times where im up all night coding and enjoying researching new stuff, and so i just run with that when im in that productive cycle.

i am both hobby artist,coder,tries to write fantasy novel fun,is remnant of old rpg playing where you wrote background and described personality of pc and later years used 3d software to make image of character
I am happy as hobbyist ,i only create things when i feel inspired,had contact with artist who do it for living ,instead must create art at all times or proffessional coder,do boring backend server  programming full time

Making poem,3d art or 2d sketch on paper  or even coding,sometimes others inspire me

Today I found out that my 'ambition' only goes so far.
I had a choice between finishing up some code, or yard work. 
I procrastinated on the yard work, in favor of working on code. 

My excuse reasoning: 
There's always tomorrow, and the yard work ain't goin' anywhere. But I might forget by tomorrow, what I wanted to do with the code that I have in my mind right now. 

Seems like a logical tradeoff. 

A little while later:
I'm off the hook for the yard work for at least today and tomorrow. A thunderstorm is moving through our area. It'll take a couple of days for the ground to be dry enough to drive the tractor on.  it gets stuck easily in wet clay.

Sometimes I get an idea and write down unfinished code anywhere, but too many coding ideas and other ideas too, 3d graphics, fantasy novel, seldom make a poem, too little time to finish all projects at home on my pc.
I sometimes enjoy sit in library writing and sometimes sketching too, or on train /buses when I commute, that helps me write down my ideas before I forget it and fast concept art sketch for artwork ideas.

Right now busy with less advanced things than coding, writing new parts of fantasy novel while I get ideas to write and translate to swedish, making a pic that shows how main mage character looks like.

Isn't it called "round robin", switching between working on many different things all the time?
