Caterpillar eyebrows

A fashion trend started at least 5 years ago where women had a procedure done to insert more hairs into the area surrounding their natural eyebrows, making the eyebrows more full and even bushy looking.

It looks totally unnatural, especially when someone that you have known for years has it done. Yuck.

While I do understand that a person can choose to alter their appearance and I am not advocating taking that right away from anyone, I think that those pursuing such changes really, really should ask opinions from people they know and trust before doing it.
Don't even get me started on poorly done lip "enhancements".

I just recently saw a trio of young-ish women (mid 20's maybe), and they all had these unnatural looking caterpillar eyebrows. I am 99.9% sure that they all had some sort of work done on those eyebrows. They just did not look natural to me at all.

Yes I know that women and girls with certain ethnicities do have naturally full eyebrows, but you can *almost* always tell the difference. (Very small margin for error)

Anyone else find that trend odd and unappealing?

:biggrin:  :skrewy:

Yeah, that certainly seems a bit odd to me. I'm blind and can't see it, and like you said people are free to do whatever they wish with their bodies, but that's an interesting choice for sure.

@Quin
You don't miss anything.
One woman in my life works in beauty business, and can tell, that now those eyebrows are removed and just replaced painted eyebrows.
Also in women private parts aren't any fluff left.

Heh; I've been saying for a long time that the growth industry for the next decade is the tattoo-removal business.
Sure-fire investment.

Truthfully I don't understand the want to plaster your body with tattoos. I had a cat pass away and we had a company infuse his ashes into some tattoo inc and I got a paw-print tattoo with it, but IMO that's completely different from having a giant snake covering your back for...whatever reason  :mrgreen:

First think to do ask what women thinks.
My cases with women are based in simple things, i just ask what they want ?

Timo, I hope you don't mind, but when I read your posts it's with the internal voice of Mika Häkkinen or Kimi Räikkönen and this one, especially the last line, was just perfect.  :cool:
