Maybe I'm wired up wrong?
« on: May 28, 2013, 07:47:28 AM »
Is it my imagination or has the world 'slowwwed' down somewhat ?

I seem to be running slow then really fast.. and a shyt load of documentation to get through, which i do progressively.
Putting my plans/designs together.. etc.

Then I pop onto the outside world.... 'nothing's moved'.. websites are literally stagnant, salespeople are slow/dormant.
I'm a patient person and take my time .. but this is a bit ridiculous.. i feel that I'm moving a light-speed compared to the rest of the world.
NO, I don't do drugs.. do wine YES, occasionally a good dose. Family is fine... etc

It's bugging me a bit ?

'Yes, they are.. aren't they....'

I think the effect is normal when you are intensively working on a task by yourself. The world rolls on at about the same rate as normal but when you are thinking at a million miles an hour the world seems to be terribly slow. The trick is to have an OFF switch so you can turn the task off until next time you have to work on it. Then you can hit it again at a million miles an hour.

No,...dude,'re OK,'s the rest of the world that's whacked.
Be happy you don't live where I do,'s like being dead,...or, some incredibly boring reality TV show that appeals to deranged people.
