I mistakenly coded ".blah:" when it should be ".blah".
The compiler did not catch it.
Maybe wjr will advise.

I find the second form easier and preferable, but GoAsm is aware and flexible here. You can do it either way since the leading period marks it as a locally scoped re-usable label.
