A word of wisdom, never hit an emu at high speed in a car. Long ago on the way to Adelaide we came upon this car that had hit an emu at over 100 mph and the bumper bar was just about level with the windscreen. They are this tough ball of gristle and while the emu was a wreck, the car was unrecoverable.  :P
