Robotics and AI are just the same as weapons.. they're useful and destructive depending on how us humans use it.
Nukes are more destructive than anything we'll have for a long time.

There's a video on an 'expert' on AI... a professor from Israel on the latest AI discoveries.

In short.. he's BS'ing.. with inconsequential ideas and irrelevant maths modelling.
Nice ideas.. but the brain/AI is not mathematical, psychological, and will never be  ;)

Non-the-less everyone is enthralled by his lecture..

AI aught to be created in a virtual environment so that when it begins recreating multi-generation AIs in micro seconds, it wont know there is a reality out there still in control... we don't know what its children are thinking... letting these things loose in the clouds is DANGEROUS...
