Win 8 Disapointing
« on: October 31, 2015, 09:25:56 PM »
Here is my experience using Win 8.1. It`s trully annoying. First, it changed how your button function each time you updated it, and second, there is no option to set it up for what you used to do. That is the primary thing. The other one, as you already knew, Win 8.1 desktop tablet storage is too small. If it was intented for a small storage, then make the app small. But, if they make special software for it, then make the support better. Im talked about a decent android user like me who used to have anything on the app store, even though I need another one, they already had another unofficial software maker who happily suffice your need.

Okay, there is a lot more. Win8.1 is intended for a desktop. It`s to small. My finger was shaken, I can click any button that are too small, and Win 8.1 did not met my demand. IE was fast, very fast, I can resize anything, while Firefox was so slow, I bet IE used a specially designed hardware acceleration for it, but not the desktop. I cant even click anything right.

And here is what I need as a replacement for android, if Win8.1 was intented to do so, I need an express setup for speech recognition. I knew, since WinXP Windows had a great built in Speech Recognition, specifically designed for one user, but please, make a generic version for user and an option to specifically recognize user as a second option, not a primary option, its hard to setup.

Well, seriously, I dont want to make my critics look so bad, or truly annoying, but Im very frustative here. I wont mention how easly this OS get hacked. I had no proof.

More than disappointing. A faulty design. Desktop computer != tablet

You would like to visit the sites below :

The best option is probably to downgrade to Windows 7 if possible.

Hi Vortex,
Thanks for the response, but unfortunately my default hidden partition fresh OS install was Win8.1. If I downgraded it it would be a problem, like what my li`l brother faced. I had no idea how to do it. Not even enter the BIOS setup. A "premature-senile old man option" mode might help  :icon_mrgreen:

I guess you have an UEFI system. Better to switch back to the legacy BIOS system but you must be careful with the current setup.
