It really makes you wonder why he would cherish such a group.

I think they are easier to manipulate. It seems like a lot of political tactics these days involve conspiracies and "spin" intended to trick voters into voting a certain way....

One quote from the 'emperor' will remain in my head for a long time. And it's not something which I picked up from a reporter's article; I heard it with my own ears.

Quote
I LOVE POORLY EDUCATED PEOPLE

It really makes you wonder why he would cherish such a group.

I don't know why Trump said that but have often had the same feeling. Have you heard this old (100 years+) joke? An ignorant farmer asks his friend, back from college, what "BS" (Bachelor of Science) means. Friend answers, "you know what it means - bullsh*t!" "Ok, what about MS?" "More Sh*t." "And what's PhD?" "Piled higher and deeper!"

That pretty well sums up the reason why people without education are often more sensible, and a lot harder to fool, than educated. Admittedly there are many exceptions.

Quote from: DONALD TRUMP
...I LOVE POORLY EDUCATED PEOPLE,...
Ha,...ha,...Raymond,...:bgrin:
I suspect that Trump is lying. I've noticed that in many of his speeches, he clearly misinforms the American public. People that are reasonably well informed, will realize this right away,...people that are not well-informed (non-assembly programmers) will vote for Trump,...without even trying to verify the information. Clearly,...the uninformed citizens are in the majority,...

Hah.. that's where you have it wrong...

I'd vote for Trump so he can clean up all the political trash that's been created over the past 20 years.. and it would have a worldwide effect.
This is a time for effective change, not empty promises.

So true... and I've seen so many 'educated fools' in my lifetime.

My 2 cents and I should know better.......
Mind when I say this, there are always exceptions.
The Arabs seem to me to be an uncivilized people.
If you were to ask me the major reason for most deaths
and misery in this world my answer would be religion.
This is pure mind control fostered by a few big wig Arabs
that don't want to lose their power. Pitiful.

Hillary is not fit to be in control of a kennel. The way she
treated the civil service guarding her while Billyboy was
president is a disgrace. Then there is Vince Foster, and dozens
of other mysterious deaths, The money laundering Foundation
which obligates her to the Arabs. The email debauchery.
IMHO she does not have the best interests of America in her
schedule......

To be truly honest,NO politician has the best interest of the American people in there heart. Politics has become an arena where everyone is out for their personal gain, and have forgotten that they are supposed to be "servant" to the people, not their ruler.

Just as a policeman is to serve and protect, not be a heavy handed enforcer for the powers that be.

I think you would have to go back to Abe Lincoln for that.

shankle, you're sort of right: Arabs are, in a way, responsible for most war deaths this century. For one thing they've deliberately killed maybe 10 thousand "infidels". But that's nothing compared to the millions of Arab deaths they're "responsible" for!

The US, Russia, and others constantly drop bombs on Arab territories, which is totally sensible. How else can we keep bomb manufacturers solvent? Now if those darn Arabs simply made sure they're not in the vicinity when the bomb goes off, there would be millions fewer deaths!

Suppose, for instance, a bunch of innocent Arab women and children are in their own homes, minding their own business. Perhaps having a wedding party, or whatever. Naturally the US bombs them - what the heck, why not? Now if they weren't such annoying religious fanatics, they would simply run from their homes before the bombs drop. Then they could live in the gutter on scraps, like Stone Age cavemen, while the US destroys their infrastructure. Instead they very inconsiderately stay in their homes, with their innocent children, and let the bombs kill them, causing millions of war deaths! Only religious fanatics would do such a thing. Certainly if you or I were about to be bombed, we'd run away, right?

No question, religion is the problem. But look at it this way. Without an excuse to bomb innocent people, the US would have to do something crazy and unprecedented, like (G-d forbid) take care of its own problems.

I think you would have to go back to Abe Lincoln for that.

And perhaps you would need to go back further.

Lincoln was not always as he is now portrayed
