42
You joke .. but I saw something mathematical (IIRC) recently, but for the fark I cannot remember where, and 42 was the solution to a big equation/'or thing'.
I say thing cause it struck me that 42 was it... as dilly as it sounds.

It'll come back sometime.. and I post again

All payments done... Dah boy iz n space-cadet student  :icon_mrgreen:
Flight bookings tomorrow night... and we're orffffff  :t

I suppose in a way it's a pity he couldn't study locally... Well.. he could have but the standards have fallen through the floor over here.
There are one or two places that might still be 'ok', but on the international charts... they just don't feature.

Good Education costs... free education is worth peanuts

Two weeks to go... All bookings and goodies.. all done... all set to go.  :eusa_boohoo:

If there's any type of problem.. it's dealing with a Uni's bureaucracy... the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and visa-versa.
Countless emails (and a few phone calls) confirming the obvious and making sure each department knows what's going on... what a headache  :icon_exclaim:
And in between the mess, one or two shining individuals that pull the the whole Uni admin together - they need a raise  :t

Anyone like to see the trip photos ?

congratulations sir K_F;
You're being a good father, mine was like you but leave me early.
Well, prices so much expansive on your place but each cent have their value.  :t
Keep us informed, I'm following the topic.
I'd rather be this ambulant metamorphosis than to have that old opinion about everything

It would be nice, maybe as links to external sites to avoid occupy space here.

You're being a good father, mine was like you but leave me early.
My parents got divorced when I was 10, and I probably saw him 4 times in 35 years thereafter - the last stretch was 15 years.
We were down in the ditch and my mother held 2(3) jobs simultaneously to keep us (3 kids) afloat.
You learn fight and never give up, but most of all be truthful to yourself and others.  ;)

I only contacted him again because my kids were asking after him. I thought it about time he saw what he had missed.
He was older and more humble, and a very good grandfather to the kids - I was happy I had contacted him.
He died 4 years later after that 'reunion'.

My step mother said he changed after that meeting, and my wife said that I was less aggressive and happier.
I suppose we just want to give our kids the opportunities we never had, the household/family life that we could only have dreamt about.

Van, now I know why you have your young fella studying overseas, an excuse for a holiday as a tourist.

It was, .. a good all in one package.
We haven't been on a holiday for yonks, and the wife always wanted to visit Ireland.
Her mother and grandmother originally come from there... visited the cousins ..etc.
