Got a PS4,and it seems to be trying to be all you need.

Got a PS4,for games,BUT it is trying to be a be all,end all system. Do movies,connect online like face book,get music,talk to online friends. So much they want to be your main system. A bit overwhelming,with all the options. It does allow a USB storage external up to an 8TB usb(got a 2TB for the extra storage) Strange that the built in Drive of 500GB,seems to be filled fast,dam games are so bloated,one is like 50 GB plus save files(One I believe has a minium save file of 50GB) Glad the cost for TB drives has come down a LOT.
Anyway,I do like the PS4 for gaming. Am I just getting to old,or is Tech moving to fast for me? No time for sleep,I can sleep when I am in my dirt nap. :icon_rolleyes: :lol:

dam games are so bloated

I've got The Sims4 running on one machine, and it's a PITA, ram- and cpu usage-wise. The Oregon coders should be sent to a Visual Basic course, it can only improve 8)

Sounds like a cute toy but I doubt you are restricted to the internal hard disk as I doubt they would use anything that is not readily available so its probably a normal SATA3 in either a 2.5 or 3.5 disk size. A 4tb drive is reasonably cheap these days, the bigger ones are a bit expensive still but if you are game to lift the lid, its probably no big deal to change it.

its intelbased cpu,8core so why dont you install masm on it and produce a 64k game, I have seen one demo does a 3d game that looks great, all procedural generated stuff
it has 8 cpus +new powerful gpu capable of running so many fast pixelshaders, I wonder why they dont do some procedural texture/terrain,simultanously loading hires humanskintextures+other stuff that is hard/impossible to do procedural to speedup loading times
