The top 10 most expensive Google keywords in the U.S. from August 2014 to August 2018 are all related to the word “mesothelioma.” These keywords account for 67 of the top 100 most expensive terms during those years, according to a release from Kantar Media.

I would like to see how the dollar value was calculated as the article by itself does not make sense.

Yes indeed, the article is a bit cryptic. My best guess is that Google gets 200$ if a client clicks on a link that brings him to a lawyer specialised in mesothelioma cases. Not impossible, as lawyers might get 20,000$ from a future client, but still, 200$ for a click sounds absurdly high.
