prototypes are critically important for an assembler that uses prototypes ... fully working reliable include files have never been a problem. It just means that the programmer must control the correct number of arguments with the correct data.

and a advanced programmer don't need any fancy MACROs either, as they usually know what they are doing ?
The dilemma of those warm little hands ?

Advanced asm programmers know how to use a MACRO assembler. The pretenders try unsuccessfully to cobble it all together with raw mnemonics and rely on their HLL for the logic.
