Please Move The Deer Crossing Sign.
« on: October 21, 2012, 07:59:12 PM »

Many of the US states have an abundance of deer. There are 10’s of thousands of auto collisions with these critters every year. Deer tend to have consistent trails they travel from year to year and when collisions with deer occur in the same location highway departments put up deer crossing signs to warn motorist. Of course there are some folks who don’t quite understand the meaning of those deer crossing signs.

Here is one such person: http://youtu.be/CI8UPHMzZm8

Duh!

my comment was, "they should move the MVD where she got her license"
i'm sure she wouldn't be able to find it

i'd like to meet that lady - i'm sure that she would have many interesting and humorous observations

Steve, Dave,

Rather the caller is for real or not I can tell you thru my years as a deer hunter, and one who is seen as someone who knows something about the animal, I can tell you I have had a least two people in my lifetime ask me why can’t we move the deer crossing signs to less vehicle traveled locations. I believe the female caller was sincere and was probably blond!

Oh, I missed that one. Yep, she's a real winner!

Back to deer, I just got me twenty pounds of prime deer venison last Thursday from my nephew. The doe was maybe three years old if that. Man I just love the stuff. And to think in a fine restaurant they charge $30 to $40 bucks for a deer steak. I have little steaks cut from the back (very tender) that are absolutely delicious in the morning with two fried jumbo eggs and home fries, yummy!!

i don't get it, Hutch - lol
some democrats drive nice cars, too   :P
many of us don't hit deer with the car, either

as for Ryan's comment....
we'll let it slide
but - in here, he seems to be running against the grain

having been raised in Michigan, i remember mitt's dad when he was governor
if you ask me, he had ties to organized crime
so - guess where mitt's money came from
and - if you wanna know where jimmy hoffa is buried, daddy might be a good guy to ask

the guy even looks like one of the "goodfellas"

he'd look pretty down-town holding a .45 tommy gun

There's enough Romney/Republican/conservative bashing throughout these threads; I just had to get it in there  :P

I don't really like either of the two major candidates.  I think of myself more as a Libertarian.  I tend to be conservative on fiscal issues and liberal on social issues.

i agree with both of those statements, Ryan   :t

i, too, am conservative on some issues and liberal on others

both parties are to blame for the mess we are in
politicians cater to big business - and the snowball doesn't seem to stop
unless things change, things will get worse before they get better
who is elected, which party is in power, will make little difference
