Classical music should be good while programming.
yes like Vivaldi, Brahms, Strauss, Mozart, Offenbach

Outstanding code requires Bartok, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov and the Dark Side of the Moon 8)

My kind of music, classical and some Brubeck (no vocals - just music).

Dave.

Lynyrd Skynyrd and Boston are classic

no doubt about that.  :t Jackson Brown (Hall of Famer), the song writer and composer of the Eagles (Tak it Easy), made some outstanding Albums. I can remember Lawyers in Love with that great tune.

I agree. That tune from 1961 was a great hit.

You have to know the facts before you can distort them.

I think it was Mr. Glenn Miller.

that video is Glenn Miller - he made the song famous
but, Benny also did a version of the same song with his clarinet

King Crimson.
Discipline is one of my favourite albums. Quiet calming, esp for programming.

I found Bill Bruford's drumming to be brain stimulating.  :P

My favourite is Lizard, but I will check Discipline, too :t

sinsi

Fleetwood Mac - Rumors album, also Peter Green (early), stuff like Albatross

Will agree with Mr Browne, at least his laid-back ones.
Also agree with Dark Side Of The Moon, but played low volume.

But sometimes you need AC/DC, especially Bon Scott.

Too relaxing for me. When I'm on a roll usually listen a music like this repeating indefinitely, it speeds up to me and to my program, and isolates me. Other times I have to have absolute quiet ... :)
