Well holiday in warmer climate like thailand ,to flee freezing winter weather when xhristmas isnt uncommon
Few years earlier someones kid accidently wrecked members laptop with coke accidently spilled on top of computer

I simply wanted to have a bit of Fun,.... things aren't very Christmassy around here since my Mother passed.

No presents, invariably No Cards, (apart from the generic one from the Village gardener),... I don't even hear from my Sister anymore,... I haven't put up any Xmas decorations or the Tree in Years and usually spend Christmas day by myself,....so thought heck,.. Why Not ??

I dont know if in electronics its still a way to get even more closer to the metal than asm
yesterday you could build circuits with nand gates for example adder+neg=subtracter?

Oh yeah, it's possible all right. Check out this beast: a 6502 processor implemented with transistors instead of chips.

I loves stuff like this. Making circuits bigger rather than smaller. Fun!

It was made lab lesson in digital electronic course when I was teenager and went to engineer school,cool as I already had few years assembler programming that time to get understanding what was under the hood of opcodes, later we had to learn program Ancient version of arduino with hex editing and final year create project with lab partner
