Went to 64 bit

I was considering Win 7 64 bit,  but I am dual booting and been using OpenSuse 64 bit.

It's very stable and installed on first try.

It's nice to be able to use all 4 Gb of RAM.

It's a lot faster than Windows, especially surfing.

It's strange not having any security updates or service packs.

Even the 32 bit was faster.
