The guy was a local nutcase, in big trouble for being charged with complicity of murdering his wife and a collection of sexual assault charges related to him being a self appointed spiritual healer. It would appear that he chose to go out with a bang, unfortunately he shot a female barrister dead and the store manager as well before the police shot him. He appears to have tried to make it an IS style act but there is little chance of any connection, his issues were local.

That sounds very different from that information we've here in Europe. The entire thing is a big tragedy.
