My Worst Pet Peeve

I pay for my phone and on top of that I pay taxes for the use of it.
I pay for my computer, the overpriced  OS on it, programs to run it,
my ISP, the phone bill,  I surely forgot other things.....

Now some stupid Axxxx advertiser thinks he has the God given right to
infest my phone and computer with his unwanted garbage.

I use sandboxie and when I'm on the internet for less than 1 minute
over 600 items are gracefully deposited without my consent or
knowledge. Fortunately Sandboxie deletes all this garbage..
Am I the only frustrated by all this.
And also Microsoft has joined this select set......

I have a standard answer to this type of complaint. Don't tell me what's wrong with the society - you'll never get finished! Instead, tell me the handful of good things - takes 5 minutes - then we can just assume everything else is FUBAR

The old rule is "Let the buyer beware" and don't be afraid to shop around for goods and services. I have just recently set up Netflix and I will see it PHUK Foxtel, an overpriced under performing bag of chyte and probably free to air television along with its ever expanding advertisements. Desperate media companies trying to get into the internet era with their outmoded medium are slowly going bust here in OZ and are doing so with my blessing.

The next mess from Microsoft is Windows 10.
Stands to reason I can hardly wait for Windows 11,12,13......
I'm not going to get it, even if it was FREE!
They seem to want to commercialize the Internet.
That is NOT, IMHO what computers are for.
I would go to Linux in a heart beat if it was not such a drudgery
to drag my programs over there and suffer with Wine.....

Windows 10 has a forum and you should just see the problems
that people are having with Windows 10. Yes, I know it's still
under development but Microsoft is set in their ways and
will not listen to their users.

They are also saying they(MS) wants windows 10 to be cloud based...shiver me timbers....the OS resides in Heaven?..or would that be hell?
