I re-installed the 2003 PSDK.

I forgot which program I used to open the help files.

You guys used to be helpful.

Too bad it is no longer the case.

I found the answer from others who barely knew me.

I know that some (many) know the answer, but chose not to help.

The help files that the PSDK contain are .hxi and .hxs files.

And one program that can open those files is H2Viewer.

I used to promote this site as one that cheerfully helped folks.

I no longer do so.

Search the forum for hxs and you could have answered your question. One result is even from a user called "Magnum".

Microsoft use dexplore.exe I think.

I always do my best.

But I am not perfect and NEITHER is anybody else.

I do not think I am better than anyone else.

When others quit when attacked by others, I shrug it off and keep on going. :-)

The reference to .hxs and .hxi recall me that i have those ones in my computer(useless now with win 10).
There is three ways to view them.
*Convert them in .chm  (Search internet for "convert hxs chm").
*Use the h2viewer ,need an asm prog to run it (I have this one)
*dexplore ,choose the good version,it's the Microsoft help viewer.

And finally,MSDN is the good soluce, type "MSDN oneword".

Thanks.

I went with H2viewer.

There is a solution to not getting the answer you want, get off your arse and find it yourself. That is what most of us have to do.
