activation of windows 7 32-bit

There don't seem to be any more updates for this OS.
I back the OS up with Clonezilla-live. No problem if the backup works.
Sometimes it doesn't for one reason or another.
If I should have to install it from  scratch, then I would possibly have
an OS with no activation and no updates.
Do you agree???

There are better applications to backup a whole Windows installation.

Activating Windows 7 is not a problem. Here is another method if you don't wish to do online activation.

Thanks for responding Vortex.
Years ago I tried Macrium reflect and it backed up just fine.
Then I got a bad surprise. Lost the Windows OS and wanted to
restore with Macrium Reflect. It wanted me to pay for the program
before I could reinstall windows. I dropped it right there and
never used it again.
Snapshot looks nice but a tad complicated. It is not free.
Clonezilla-live is a free product. Contributions are accepted.

I will make a copy of the Windows 7 activation and try to follow the instructions.
I usually find that these types of instructions don't work all the way through but I
am probably wrong. I'll also will never know if it will work after a disaster
until it happens. Then if it doesn't work I am out of luck...
