ForwardCom
« on: September 30, 2021, 04:31:46 AM »
Hi
Agner Fog released the official ForwardCom specifications and examples this year.
It's amazing work on an entirely new open standard CPU instruction set that is also x64 ISA compliant.
It is worth reading... maybe it's the beginning of a new future.  :eusa_clap:

Interesting read, the problem will be if any manufacturer will support it.

Hi
Because we live in a capitalist society, only what is profitable for the chip manufacturer is implemented.
If there is customer demand for this new and interesting approach, then it has a chance of survival.  :eusa_pray:
