hutch--

I follow this stuff where I can and the general view is that dinosaurs never left us, they just adapted after the meteor impact of about 65 million years ago. We now call them birds.

...and it shows
birds are very vicious animals, really
the land equiv of sharks, if you ask me

glad there aren't many species larger than humans

You have to know the facts before you can distort them.

Hi, Gunther

My fault, I have not seen this movie though IIRC I saw a movie about Hitchcock and his 'The Birds' on TV .
I said "Hungry Birds" by analogy with very popular game Angry Birds

I will say,I have been dive bombed by a Blue Jay,that is one mean and nasty bird, very territorial to say the least.

Crocodiles survived the meteor impact.

And George Carlin has some good insight.

Emu. Can get to 6'2". Mellow, but will chase you (up to 31 mph) for your sandwich

Cassowary. Can get to 6'6" and 129 lbs. Can run at 31 mph. Another Australian animal that can disembowel you (with its 5" long middle claw). Such a pretty bird too.
